Jenny Daykin has sent me a collection of photographs from her family album to put on the site.
Jenny was one of the Daykin triplets born on January 23rd 1954, the first surviving triplets to be born at the City Hospital. The event even warranted a telegram and £3.00 from the Queen. Jenny's mum, Marjorie, was a dinnerlady at Bosworth Road school and dad, Eric, made the nursery furniture. Jenny and her family lived at the bottom of Bosworth Road in Curtis Grove and for Jenny, the Meadows was a special place and one that she loved.
